Fashion Inspiration Of The Week: Natasha Lillipore
Natasha Lillipore is EVERYTHING! Her style is so whimsical & daring; she inspires me to push the envelope & not be afraid to show my quirky side. Natasha's style varies anywhere from Vintage Glam to Grunge Vixen. She doesn't have a specific look & she isn't afraid to try new ones. I think that's why I love her style so much because she doesn't necessarily have one. She wears what she wants when she wants. I have a similar attitude when it comes to fashion. One day I'll dress up as a pin-up model from the 50's & the next I'll look like I'm set in the 90's about to attend a Nirvana concert. I was never the type of person to like one thing and stick with it. I was always fascinated by so many things that I ended up getting frustrated with myself for not being "normal". I envied people who had their life planned out at an early age. I'm still trying to figure out who I am & that's okay. It's my journey & I'm not afraid to be me anymore. That's Why Natasha inspires me; she embodies confidence & isn't afraid to be who she is. It's okay to be different. Do you like rainbow colored hair? Dye your hair pink. You want to try blue lipstick but it's out of your comfort zone? Wear it anyway. As long as you're true to yourself that's all that should matter.

5 DIY Halloween Costumes Ideas
It's that time of year again! Yes, Halloween is back & I couldn't be more excited. I personally love dressing up for Halloween. For as long as I can remember I've been buying my costumes, but last year I tried something different & put my costumes together myself. Putting a costume together can either be extremely expensive or inexpensive. I chose to use items that were already in my closet making my costume nearly free. All my costumes last year were less than $5. I did my make up to resemble that specific character & found items in my closet that were similar to the character's outfit. Below I posted some outfit ideas I created for Halloween. If you're trying to save money or want to dress up but keep your outfit simple, then these looks are for you. The outfits I made are just a guideline to help you with your costume but if you are interested in any of the items, I will link them all below. If you feel like your outfit needs a little more sass then play around with your makeup. For example, if you choose to be snow White or Waldo you can always zombify your makeup by using liquid latex or tissue paper. The options are endless.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month
Since 1985, during every October, breast cancer organizations have gathered to host events, walks, runs, etc. to help raise awareness & funds for research. Major corporations & designers have collaborated with charities to create one of a kind items to be sold during the month of October.
After every sale, a percentage of the proceeds are given to those charities to help raise awareness. We can also do our part by attending a breast cancer walk, run, or purchasing a few items from companies that support breast cancer.

Fall 2014 Color Series: Cobalt Blue
Fall is my favorite season of the year, especially in New York City. During the Fall season, my outfits have always been influenced by Autumn/Winter runway shows. I always try to implement certain elements from the runway without deriving too much from my sense of style. During the A/W 2014 Runway show I fell in love with one of the new color trends which was "Cobalt Blue".
Cobalt is such an elegant hue. It's one of those colors that will make anyone look put together. My favorite colors to pair it with are: slick blacks, grays with silver undertones, golds, cool yellows & other jewel tones. I've found some great cobalt colored items anyone can incorporate in their day-to-day looks. If you want to be on trend but don't want to wear a Cobalt skirt, top, etc. Then opt for an eyeliner, eye shadow or even a nail polish.
